Inland fishing in the area

Skoganvarre and Finnmark county offer magnificent opportunities for inland fishing. On the mountain lakes it is easy to leave everyday worries behind and enjoy the beautiful sceneries of northern Norway.

Lake trout and arctic char are the most sought after catches. Normally trout, arctic char and grayling are below 1 kg, but big specimens of each fish are caught on almost every trip. All the permits needed for inland fishing can be acquired at Skoganvarre.
